Random Thoughts

My fifteenth birthday is coming up; and, throughout these fifteen years of being alive, I have experienced and learned so much. Sure, from a different perspective, fifteen years isn’t much, but if you’ve experienced so much in this little amount of time– it’s unbelievable. Some kids just grow up locked away in their quiet, American suburban home; while others, grow up with some sort of story to tell (some worse than others).

And it makes me wonder, if everyone had some sort of story to tell, why do we all hate each other? Why do we discriminate against people so easily for their little things? Why can’t we get past these flaws, and we all get to know each other?

Sure, I’ve been an asshole once too many times, but can you really blame me? Some people really should have seen it coming earlier. While others, I should really apologize to. Of course, I have no excuse for being an asshole to anyone.

This brings me to my next point. :b

I guess that sometimes, we all forget that we are humans– animals, and we are not perfect. No matter how much we try to “control” our anger, inner feelings, and instincts, we are still just a species that share a common ancestor with chimps. Thus, we are not as perfect as we say or act like we are. That’s my little theory anyway. (:

Which reminds me,

Is anyone happy in life?

I’d like to believe I am; I’d like to believe that naturally, I am a happy and positive person. Sometimes, I can be wrong, and you guys can see that. But I’d still rather just have the happy state-of-mind than the negative.

Other than a few little “kinks” in life, I’d like to believe I’m happy.

This is a video to everyone who thinks Creationism is fact. This video is very informative, and not only that, but it informs you without boring you.

After watching this video, I think to myself how could these creationists possibly say that Evolution isn’t fact, but the bible as Science is.

How can one have a creationist Scientist? That’s like the equivalent of an Atheist Priest; it just doesn’t work. These creationists have no grasp of Science at all, think the Scientific Method is BS, and think that the whole world was created in six days (apparently their “Creator” rested on the seventh). They also think that the giant flood that flooded the whole world made the Grand Canyon, but I won’t get into that.

There is much more that I have to say; but of course, I’m not going to do a full rant tonight. All I have to say is that calling a work of literature as truth and Science is BS. Sure, I’m going to piss off a lot of people; and if I did, please watch the video. Make sure that when you’re watching it, keep an open mind. Don’t let your ideas get in the way.
