You have made me who I am today.

If I hadn’t met you, I wouldn’t be the person I am; I would still be like everyone else. In a way, I am thanking you. You were one of my greatest friends. In the short time we spent together, we got really close. You taught me many things; you taught me not to be afraid. You told me how we would stay true to each other, like how we used to be, and that we’ll never change, but over the course of these three years, the opposite has happened.

We were brothers.

You have become a totally different person, and so have I. Of course, I’ll still try to talk to you, but it seems as though you’re pushing me away. It’s okay, maybe you don’t want to remember the past. Maybe the crowd you hang out with (now) won’t “approve” of you befriending me.

Maybe it’s just me? Maybe I’ve changed so much that I’m not the same friend I was.

But that will not change the fact that you have made me who I am today, and I will not forget that.

So, the summer has started. Of course, over these 2~3 months we get off from school, we are prone to get bored! So I have compiled a list of things, or goals, I should get done.

• Get Ramua (my warlock) and Carebear (my druid) to level 70.
• Start skating (skateboarding) again.
• Start break-dancing.
• Keep in touch with friends.
• Save up a decent amount of money.
• Lose some weight.

Not that hard, right? Haha.

Over the past couple of days, I have been torrenting The Sims 2. Yes, I know, that makes me a pirate, etc. But honestly, who’s going to buy the game and its sixteen expansions? That’s a minimum of $160 dollars there, and it doesn’t sound like it’s even worth it for that game. Sure, it’s great and all, but $160?

Oh wells. Looks like I won’t be playing it anyways! Maxis/EA Games managed to protect their game! They made it to where if you use a no-CD crack, you won’t be able to use the build feature in the game, so that means no house building, painting, planting, etc.

Bullshit, I know, but what did I have to lose from all this? Nothing much, except for the fact that I had to keep my computer on. Haha.

Wow. I just finished watching Bridge to Terabithia. I don’t know how to feel about it.

I mean, the movie got me thinking. I’m really thankful for the friends I have, and once they’re gone, I’ll miss them greatly. I should really enjoy the amount of time I have with them right now, for if we part ways one day, chances are, we’ll never meet again.

What’s going to hurt even worse is to find out a friend of yours has died. Can you imagine having someone so close to you fade away? Then, you’ll have to cope with them not being there, and it’s hard to let go of the good times.

Of course you’d want to remember them, but you’d also want to forget about them. It’s one of those bittersweet things to life, right?

I probably don’t know what I’m talking about. Maybe I just got a little “creative?”

The other day, I saw Speed Racer at the local AMC. Let me tell you, it was amazing. The visuals were so colorful, bright and trippy! What makes it even better was that I was pretty baked during the movie.

Even though I missed like, the first 20-50 minutes of the movie, I managed to at least understand the plot. Apparently, Speed wants to destroy this unfair, “fixed” racing that’s going on. Along with him on this little mission were Racer-X and a few others.

Like in the original, Racer-X is, of course, Speed’s brother. A minor adjustment was that his suit didn’t resemble the Mach 5, which, in my opinion, was for the better.

Overall, the movie was good, especially when baked. I just sat there, staring at the race scenes, which were a mix between reality and Anime. That made me trip my balls of, of course.

I pretty much got a day off from school today. My school has these “reward field-trips” at the end of the school year for the kids who are passing and exhibit good behavior. Apparently, I managed to fit into those eligibility requirements. The 6^th graders got to go to an arcade called Adventure Landing, which is lame; the 7^th graders got to go to a Renaissance festival called Scarborough Faire, which is pretty cool; and the 8^th graders go to Six Flags!

We were so fortunate to arrive there on the buses before Six Flags would open! Everyone there stood at the gates, anticipating to run in. My group consisted of Tiffany, Nancy, Mary, Jacob and I. At the Six Flags we went to, there was a new ride called the Tony Hawk’s Big Spin, so we wanted to be the first ones to ride that. Fortunately, we did.

The whole morning just kicked ass because a lot of the roller coasters barely had anyone waiting in line. It was pretty amazing. Later on in the day, when the coasters started to get packed with people, we went to the little kiddy rides.

There was this log-ride with a name I can’t remember. The ride itself was just supposed to be a smooth log ride on a stream. It didn’t have any major splashes that you would get yourself soaking wet in. So you know what my group did? We spent the whole time splashing ourselves! loooooool. It was funny.

There was also this tea-cup ride. It is a ride that consists of tea-cups that would spin you on this circular track. Inside each tea-cup are turning wheels so people can control the spin of the cup. While we were on the ride, we spun it as fast as we can! We turned a little kiddy ride into a roller coaster. Haha.

Overall, the day was great. I had so much fun, if I had another chance to do it again, I wouldn’t change a thing. But if I had to change something, I’d change the leaving-time. We had to leave at 6 pm.

Good evening MySpace, this is Duy speaking. Tonight, I have a very special little “speech,” if you will, to present to you guys. Can you guess what it’s about? I’m going to be talking about the one and only… “Tuan Anh!” Now, of course, I’m not talking about the actual, male Tuan Anh, but, to whom this may concern, my readers, you should know who I’m talking about. Indeed, this is going to be another edition of my ranting to the masses, but tonight, let’s takes a more “professional” approach. My last one was just too “messy” for my tastes.

So our subject, Tuan Anh has this serious problem, you know? She has this strange disorder where she would talk about people whom she dislikes, sometimes even her closest friends, behind their backs. Now, I am not going to discuss about this certain little “trait” of hers tonight, mainly because of the fact that we all know this to be true and it is pretty much common knowledge.

But what I am going to discuss is the fact that she would involve one of the people that are most dear to me, and that is Nancy. Tuan Anh just enjoys sitting there, with the company of her peers, talking all this garbage about Nancy. Now, I’m not saying that everyone is off-limits to say things about their boyfriends or girlfriends, but if they haven’t ever said a word to you, or want to be associated with you, then that is where you cross the line. That’s right. Nancy does not talk to Tuan Anh at all. She does not do anything to her, yet, Tuan Anh insists on doing this to her. Why do I care? She is spreading this utter bullshit amongst her friends, whom happen to be Nancy’s friends too.

Think about it this way, folks. Imagine if your loved one was in Nancy’s position. If you don’t have one, imagine your best friend, brother, sister, cousin or parents getting ridiculed by this pest, and they haven’t done any harm whatsoever to this pest. That is WHY I’m getting myself involved. I personally feel as though Tuan Anh has gone too far.

Why yes, I understand to some of you that this is none of my concern, but maybe this is my emotions reacting and not my mind. My only “excuse” is that Tuan Anh has involved herself in other peoples’ feuds before, and this is my chance to do the same to her. We all know that in this world, what comes around goes around.

And I guess here is where I will leave off tonight, folks. Until another day will I continue on these little “speeches,” as you guys like to call them. All I have to say is that you shouldn’t be afraid to speak what is on your mind.

I also acknowledge that I have started a little “following,” but maybe that’s the kind of reaction I am looking for?

My original intent was to post this as a bulletin on MySpace, but my girlfriend told me not to. Instead, I shall post it here.

So today, I had the time of my life. Seriously. It’s good to get to hang out with all of the 8th Graders before we all move on to different High Schools and part ways. The best thing about it was the fact that everyone got along! There was almost no beef whatsoever. Hell, I even tried to “get cool” with someone. ;b

And it turns out that the place didn’t get shot up. Wow, I can’t believe I believed that mumble jumble. I even got all freaked out about it the first time I heard about it and everything.

The Formal was great. Me, being the Asian that doesn’t know how to dance, managed to learn quickly and had fun. All the guys joked around and grinded on each other. It was strange, because most of the time, the guys would be in one group, and the girls would be in the other. Each gender group managed to “dirty dance” with each other. Now, don’t get the idea that I enjoy guys grinding on me; I just thought it was funny.

On the slow songs, I got to slow-dance with my sweetheart. I enjoyed every moment of it, because she was really shy and didn’t really want to dance that much.

The only thing that really annoyed me was some girl brought her bitchass boyfriend. He was short, scrawny, and tried to start shit with my friend Kyler, who is freaking tall, slightly built, and has an anger problem. Looooool, guess who would win if they duked it out? Then, Kevin goes in and pushes him, telling him to, “Chill the fuck out.” The kid walks away, butthurt.

We all continued with the chaotic madness until about nine; then, a lot of people went to T.G.I. Friday’s. Luckily enough, my friends, my girl and I managed to get there first. We reserved a seat for ourselves, since it would be first-come, first-serve.

To be honest with you, T.G.I.’s food wasn’t even worth the money. I spent $40 for an entree, appetizer and a slush. It looked good, but wasn’t.

It wasn’t until that moment at T.G.I. was when I needed to take pictures, for the memories. So sadly enough, I left home tonight with less than fifty pictures.

But like I said, I had a blast. I’mma miss everyone. I hope we can all see each other again like this. )’:

So, guise. My school’s 8th grade formal is tomorrow. I’m pretty excited, since it’s my last year in the 8th grade and at the school. I plan to do something special there. It’ll be a memorable experience. No one wants a bland Formal, right?

After the Formal, my friends and I are going to go to T.G.I. Friday’s. I don’t think it’ll cost a lot for my food, since I won’t be eating much. It’ll be pretty fun to “chill” here afterwards.

Also, this will be one of my first times wearing a real suit. All the other times I wore a bunch of hand-me-down suits from distant relatives, which aren’t too great. The only bad thing is that I rented the suit, (lol) mainly because of the fact that I’ll probably grow out of the suit in the near future.

The only thing that bothers me about the formal is that there’s a chance someone is going to shoot it up. How do I know? This is probably going to sound really out there, but my friend has dreams that can tell the future. Sounds pretty dumb, huh? Well, there’s a part of me that thinks it’s just bullcrap, while the other part thinks it’ll happen.

blahblah: about five minutes later after we got there we find him. we’re around the front of the school and brandon says, “man i wish mathew were here”
blahblah: so mica looks over and sees these people walk out of a car. in black bandanas and they walk up to the school, kick open the doors, and pull out guns. :/ and that’s when she woke up.

I gotta ask you guys something. If you went to buy something and you had enough for the product but not the few extra dollars of tax, you’d kind of expect your friend (that owes you money and has a bunch of money with him) to pay those few extra dollars, right? I mean, I was in need of that certain product, and my friend just stood there, hesitating. Is it really that much to spare your friend two dollars and some change?

I’m not saying that he has to pay for my things. But the thing was that he owed me! It’s one thing to be a good friend, and it’s another to pay what you owe.

If I was in my friend’s position, I’d give up those few extra dollars. I dunno, to me, that seems really stingy. Especially when your wallet’s fat.
